also damaged. authorities say the tornado was only down on the ground for about two miles -- and was the width of a mother nature brought heavy rains along with tumultuous flooding to different parts of georgia on christmas eve. the flooding has reportedly forced evacuations and closed roads in several counties. some of them re- opened throughout the day due to some roads clearing in the area. up to five inches of rain reported. one person living there has to deal with the damage the flood has done to his home... "we packed up at about nine o' clock-packed up clothes, all the christmas gifts, and packed up and left." the rainfall is expected to continue through the afternoon today. a significant amount of damage has been left behind by the flood waters -- even trees have been snapped in half. activists continue to call for chicago mayor rahm emanuel to resign... following a federal investigation into the city's police department. dozens of people gathered in downtown chicago to hold a

they held signs and chanted "rahm must resign" as they marched along michigan avenue. the protests are in response to the fatal shooting of laquan mcdonald by a white chicago police officer last year. there were no arrests and no disturbances during christmas eve services at two churches that received mailed bomb threats this week. thousands of people packed the texas churches to rejoice in christmas eve services. the churches paid for a handful of off-duty police officers to help monitor the entrances and patrol the parking lots. many families admitted they debated whether to attend... "it basically became we could go, or we could stay home. and then we could stay home all the time. because this could happen anywhere." police are still investigating the threats. authorities believe the same person mailed the bomb threat to both churches. paris tightened security at places of worship ahead of christmas services, due to concerns over potential attacks.

an iowa inmate -- convicted of murder -- dies of natural causes due to pneumonia. 76-year-old john wilson was serving a life sentence for two counts of first degree murder in marshall county. his sentence started on december 22nd in 19-83. authorities confirm he died wednesday. apparently, the grinch has been busted... developing overnight: at least 14 people are dead across three states, following this week's storms: tennessee, mississippi, and arkansas. mississippi governor phil bryant declared a state of emergency in seven counties. mother nature brought heavy rains along with tumultuous flooding to different parts of georgia on christmas eve. the flooding has reportedly forced evacuations and closed roads in several counties. up to five inches of rain were reported. four people were killed in a fiery crash. this happened in florida. three family members were on their way to visit their grandmother for christmas when they were involved in a collision. one of the cars bursted into a lottery winner in iowa may have to return his 100- thousand-dollar prize. lottery officials say he was too young to buy a ticket... but he lied about his age. he's facing misdemeanor charges for underaged gambling. the salvation army red kettle
